And we were certainly in good company!
It was inspiring to see the strides being taken to disrupt many areas of cell and gene therapy development. We were amongst 11 other exciting start-ups, all of which are developing new approaches to various aspects of cell processing and manufacturing.
Of course, we need these advances in technology, processes, data, and science, but these amazing ideas will remain just that without the funding and investment to bring them to market. It’s a tough financial climate right now, especially for start-ups, as investors are looking for safer investments.
